1a. Why I don't see any images in the galleries ?

The image galleries on this website require the Adobe Flash player to be installed on your system. In case you don't have it yet, it can be downloaded here.

1 b. Why are images loading so slowly ?

This depends first of all on the kind of connection you have, but even with Hi-Speed Network the loading times can vary a lot depending on the browser and hardware used: On a 512 MB machine (Win XP and Netscape 6), the Landscapes galleries e.g. do load, but the Full Screen slideshow is indeed very slow.

2. Why the layout of this website looks strange on my screen ?

With a huge amount of different browsers and operating systems in use these days, it's not easy to have the layout "perfect". I am trying to test all possible systems, before any change or update goes online. Nevertheless, in case you encounter a problem, please be so kind and let me know about it ! Thank you.

3. When can I expect to see some new galleries ?

The image galleries in the different categories are updated on an irregular basis. The best way is to keep looking from time to time or to subsribe to the RSS Newsfeed, which informs you about all updates as they happen. The monthly Newsletter also informs you amongst others about recent and foreseen updates.

4. Where can I find a collection of all Tutorials ?

At the moment the tutorials are only available via the Tutorials Section. Some tutorials (these are more detailed and give easy to understand "step-by-step" instructions) are now available as a .pdf download.

5. How do I use the Stock Image Library ?

The Stock Image Library gives you a growing selection of photographs, sorted in various categories. Under each image you can choose between several "item actions" like Add Comment or also Print on Photoworks.com, our partner for ordering online prints.

6. What happened to the travel galleries, USA e.g. that were on the old homepage ?

No worries - All these galleries are coming back. After the merging to the new version of this website, which includes a huge data base system operating in the background there is still lots of "cleaning up" and rearranging to be done. For the moment, you can get to the old version of the website following this link.

7. What is this "Rent Webspace" (Client Section) all about ?

For registered clients, I offer a password protected web-portfolio where all the images of a shooting we had, are online and easily accessible for them and their friends. Usually these galleries are removed from the server after a certain time (a few weeks). Having the possibilities now, I can offer more webspace for as long as needed - and all this without any "besoming member", "Subscription" business. 8. I am a bit lost. Where can I find what I am looking for ?

There are two easy ways to find content on this website (assuming it's really there). First, the Sitemap which is accessible from everywhere via the "Footer". Second, there is a search function in the Tutorials section.
