Cine Expansion Kit with Canon C50 as new ‘sensor option’.
I would like to thank all of you who not only passed by our booth but spent long time to have a closer look, test and discuss the CINE EXPANSION KIT with me. More than 100 film makers, DPs, production company and distributor folks wanted to stay in touch and are now on the maillig list.
This is simply amazing.
The exciting news I want to share with you are two new ‘sensor options’ for the Cine Expansion Kit: Both the CANON C50 and the Nikon ZR will physically fit in and allow you to build your personal cinema camera around a total of six different mirrorless cameras: The FUJIFILM X-H2 / X-H2s, the SONY FX3 / FX30 and the Canon C50 and Nikon ZR.
The other really interesting development is coming from the PL-mount adapter side: Mofage showed the Pocco adapter with internal ND-filters - now also for FUJIFILM X-mount. While this option is not yet listed on the official website, I assume it to appear rather soon.
Viltrox presented the ZMOVE PL-adapter series, allowing PL-mount cine lenses to be connected to to DJI Ronin 4D, Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, M43 Camera, Fujifilm, and Nikon cameras.
Last but not least I want to update you on some other exciting news: In order to customise YOUR Cine Expansion Kit with the camera of your choice and all the accessories to make film making easy and fun, there is a new and special top-handle in the design phase right now.
